The Real Threat To Canada!

Much has been made of the principal that has banned the singing of O Canada from his school, and I agree that it is wrong, no matter what his motivation.

I got to thinking about our members of Parliament and how they should react to this story, and that led me to the Bloq. You see, the Bloq does not sing O Canada, and I have proof. This video shows all the times O Canada was sung in Parliament in 2008, not once did the Bloq participate.

You can skip most of it, but make sure you listen to the Parliamentary pages sing, it's very well done, too bad our MP's aren't as enthusiastic. The pattern every Wednesday is Liberal/NDP/Conservative and then repeat throughout the year. The NDP has one guy who sings, usually all by himself. The Conservatives are the most enthusiastic, but not necessarily the best singers. NO BLOQ.

Why are we going ballistic about one principal in one school who banned the singing of O Canada, when some of our MP's will not sing O Canada. Why hasn't the MSM reported on this? If the principal can complain to the HRC, why can't we do the same with the Bloq? The PM doesn't dare call the Bloq separatists, because Quebec will take offense. It's time for us to be offended by a party that will not sing O Canada, but gladly takes taxpayers money not only for their paycheques but also to buy Quebec votes.

This makes me so mad because separatism had died down and was just about dead, then the NDP had to mess with it by arranging the coalition. The Liberals share the blame because they all, (including Iggy) signed the agreement. They are responsible for breathing life back into the separatist movement.

Separatism back on top of Bloc Quebecois' agenda

ST-HYACINTHE, Que. -- Separatism is back on top of the Bloc Quebecois agenda after being on the back burner for a few years.

"Our goal is as pertinent as ever," Bloc Leader Gilles Duceppe said at a party meeting in St-Hyacinthe, Que., on Saturday

The real threat to Canada is not one principal banning the singing of O Canada, it is the Bloq, and until Canada wakes up to that fact, our country is going to remain fractured.

Friday Funnies: No Tern Unstoned!

So if I remember correctly, the first budget the Conservatives introduced was as big a disappointment as this one. Seems nothing changes with Conservatives, until an election, then we look at the options and the Conservatives are the only answer. It's time to lighten up.

Speaking of terns and er, unthreshed barley straw which of course
you weren't but:

My brother, the farmer of the family, heard that barley straw put in
small sloughs stopped the formation of blue-green algae so he raked up
a quantity of said unthreshed barley straw and dumped it in a slough
on his farm.

That was in in the heat of the summer. A couple of days later he
checked to see if it was working as he had been told.

Instead he found hundred of terns make a horrendous sound of slurred
piping, flapping about uncontrollably and seemingly unable to fly. It
seems the unthreshed barley in the straw had fermented and he had left
no tern unstoned for miles around.

Three women friends, one in a casual relationship, one engaged to be married and one a long-time wife, met for drinks after work. The conversation eventually drifted towards how best to spice up their sex lives.

After much discussion, they decided to surprise their men by engaging in some S&M role playing. The following week they met up again to compare notes.

Sipping her drink, the single girl leered and said, 'Last Friday at the end of the work day I went to my boyfriend's office wearing a leather coat. When all the other people had left, I slipped out of it and all I had on was a leather bodice, black stockings and stiletto heels. He was so aroused that we made mad passionate love on his desk right then and there!'

The engaged woman giggled and said, 'That's pretty much my story! When my fiance got home last Friday, he found me waiting for him in a black mask, leather bodice, black hose and stiletto pumps. He was so turned on that we not only made love all night, he wants to move up our wedding date!

The married woman put her glass down and said, 'I did a lot of planning. I made arrangements for the kids to stay over at Grandma's. I took a long scented-oil bath and then put on my best perfume. I slipped into a tight leather bodice, a black garter belt, black stockings and six-inch stilettos. I finished it off with a black mask, ready for action.

When my husband got home from work, he grabbed a beer and the remote, sat down and yelled, 'Hey, Batman, what's for dinner?'

VATICAN HUMOR

After getting all of Pope Benedict's luggage loaded into the limo, (and he doesn't travel light), the driver notices the Pope is still standing on the curb.

'Excuse me, Your Holiness,' says the driver, 'Would you please take your seat so we can leave?'

'Well, to tell you the truth,' says the Pope, 'they never let me drive at the Vatican when I was a cardinal, and I'd really like to drive today.'

'I'm sorry, Your Holiness, but I cannot let you do that. I'd lose my job! What if something should happen?' protests the driver, wishing he'd never gone to work that morning.

'Who's going to tell?' says the Pope with a smile?

Reluctantly, the driver gets in the back as the Pope climbs in behind the wheel. The driver quickly regrets his decision when, after exiting the airport, the Pontiff floors it, accelerating the limo to 205 kph. (Remember, the Pope is German.)

'Please slow down, Your Holiness!' pleads the worried driver, but the Pope keeps the pedal to the metal until they hear sirens.

'Oh, dear God, I'm going to lose my license -- and my job!' moans the driver.

The Pope pulls over and rolls down the window as the cop approaches, but the cop takes one look at him, goes back to his motorcycle, and gets on the radio.

'I need to talk to the Chief,' he says to the dispatcher.

The Chief gets on the radio and the cop tells him that he's stopped a limo going 205 kph.

'So bust him,' says the Chief.

'I don't think we want to do that, he's really important,' said the cop.

The Chief exclaimed,' All the more reason!'

'No, I mean really important,' said the cop with a bit of persistence.

The Chief then asked, 'Who do you have there, the mayor?'

Cop: 'Bigger.'

Chief: ' A senator?'

Cop: 'Bigger.'

Chief: 'The Prime Minister?'

Cop: 'Bigger.'

Well,' said the Chief, 'Who is it?'

Cop: 'I think it's God!'

The Chief is even more puzzled and curious, 'What makes you think it's God?'

Cop: 'His chauffeur is the Pope!'

They Spit In Our Faces And We Let Them.

This appears to be a story that started with one article in a newspaper by a concerned Mom, and then the blogsphere grabbed it, made it an issue, and the MSM was then forced to cover it. The power of blogs is becoming evident, and there is no way the MSM or HRC's can stop it. They can't bring every blogger to trial for stating their opinions.

Should every school sing our national anthem? Yes. Should all children be REQUIRED to sing it? No. Who ever said that Canada Day should be the only day that we show our love for our country? Who are these "fake" Canadians who do not want to sing our national anthem? They spit in our faces and we let them.

Remember how PM Harper diverted his plane so that the first people rescued from Lebanon could fly home with him? Do you remember how they complained about the boats and then returned to Lebanon without so much as a thank you to Canadian taxpayers? They spit in our faces, and we let them.

They bring us before tribunals, much like the witch hunters of yore, because we dare to voice our opinions. They want to ban guns and hug criminals, they hound smokers into dark back alleys and call for marijuana to be legalized, and when they get what they want in a budget, they still call for a coalition. They spit in our faces and we let them.

They rally for the terrorist group Hamas, and yell at young Jewish boys that they will be killed, not in the West Bank, but here in Canada. They spit in our faces and we let them.

It starts small, with the banning of our national anthem from a school, because two parents complain, and then the wants of the few trump the good for the many.

Luckily some people clearly understand the need to stand on guard for Canada. If this doesn't send shivers of pride through your body, you are the ones spitting on us.

There comes a point when the silent majority, makes some noise. Stop spitting in our faces, we will not let you do it anymore.

Question Period: They're Back!!!!

Parliament is back in session, and I look forward to lots of bloopers and zingers. We have already had some in the last two days, mainly a Layton/Harper match up.

Iggy was just plain boring, so Layton must have felt he had to uphold the coalition image. HA! Funny how the three leaders of the opposition are all about themselves and not the coalition. Duceppe was upset because Quebec only gets 8+ Billion in equalization payments and some band wasn't able to travel overseas on the taxpayers dime, oh, and let's not forget Alberta, the Bloq sure has a hate on for Alberta! Maybe we should keep the 8+ Billion we send to lazy Quebec, then they would really have something to whine about!

To see the whole "show", you can go here, pick a day, and have fun! ParlVu has a new advanced feature which has a really clear picture, way better than what they were offering before, so hopefully the quality of my videos will improve too.

Anyways, thank goodness the coalition is dead, for now, I could not have put up with Layton as a Minister, of anything.

Money, Money, Money!!!

What do I think of the budget? Who cares! HA. I agree with the Trusty Tory.

But if we take the time to remove our partisan blinders, we would realize this budget is one of the most important in over a decade and has done what it set out to do - take care of Canadians.

From tax cuts for ordinary Canadians, to job creation and infrastructure spending, to frozen EI premiums and a 5 week extension, it hopes to weather to recessionary storm by giving Canadians the tools they need to come out at the end of this thing - money, jobs, infrastructure, stability and LESS TAXES.

It is a budget for Canadians, and they will not care that our debt is increasing, it's already over half a billion, so what's 34 billion more? If you really want to own some of the debt, buy a Canada savings bond, keep our debt in Canada.

What could the government have done in a recession? (Still not convinced we are in one yet.)

Monetary policy - reduce the bank rate to stimulate spending. That's what the Bank of Canada has been doing, but with our bank rate at 1%, there is not much room to reduce it further.

Fiscal policy - reduce taxes and/or increase spending. This is what the budget did, it reduced taxes and increased spending, now we have to wait and see how quickly it works. The problem with fiscal policies is that they are slower moving than monetary policy. We might be out of the recession before the fiscal policies kick in.

What the government did not do, that the coalition would have, is start new social programs like a national daycare program, or carbon credit money sucking scheme. (H/T to MaryT)

I also liked the cap on public service salaries. This was sure to upset our socialist NDP friends and the unions.

According to Keynesian economics this is a good budget. Unfortunately, it's bound to upset fiscal Conservatives. I hope once the budget is passed, we can start talking about program reductions. Think of all the baby boomers who will be retiring, let's not replace them.

Given the liberal bent of the bureaucrats, this must have been an easy budget to put together. Now, if they would only retire, we could get some new thinking into the public service.

The budget, it's okay as long as we see some program reductions after we are out of the rough patch. There is plenty of fat to be cut from programs.

Bias, What Media Bias?

Look at this CTV graph, and explain to me what is wrong with it.

Right, they show the Conservatives with a deep deficit and then TADA!! the Liberals show surpluses. No years are shown, just Conservative and Liberal faces. This is one of the most disgusting pieces of biased reporting I have seen from CTV, and they are bad on a good day.

I decided to look for the real numbers from Trudeau to present to show the real picture. Here is what the real data shows:(page nine)

Not quite the same picture as CTV presents. If you still doubt me, look at this graph:

Just like the eco-nuts tried to wipe out warm periods in our history, CTV is trying to wipe out Trudeau deficits, the main cause of our debt problems.

No bias by CTV, nope, their graph is a totally acceptable propaganda tool for the Liberals.

The Peter Principle Candidates

Here is the official definition of the Peter Principal:

The Peter Principle is the principle that "In a Hierarchy Every Employee Tends to Rise to His Level of Incompetence."

This was first published in 1968, I had to read it in university, but the concept stuck with me, and it is still as true today as it was in 1968.

In the seventies, the feminists made a big push to get females into management positions, I had no problem with that, but what happened was that companies promoted females just to show they were pro-female. They promoted women who were not qualified and that's when the Peter Principle kicked in. They were promoted because they were female, not because they were competent. They set the feminist movement back because they were so bad at what they did, that no company wanted to take a chance of promoting another incompetent female for years.

Fast forward to today. Think about those people who have risen to their level of incompetence.

Dion, he did nothing as the environment Minister, and got promoted to leader of the Liberals. He was over his head as environment Minister and a disaster as leader of the opposition.

Paul Martin, was supposedly a very good finance Minister, but as a Prime Minister he was a joke. He had no clue what he should do because he was not a leader.

Layton, is a socialist who has reached his pinnacle of fame, imagine him as Prime Minister....Yikes!

Duceppe the separatist, tried to lead the Quebec government and even his own party didn't want him. Where can he go? Prime Minister? Not possible, so he has reached his level of incompetence, he is on a dead end road with nowhere to go but retirement.

Iggy, the unelected leader of the Liberals, a Harvard grad who has spent most of his life outside of Canada, comes back to save us, from ourselves. He agreed with GW Bush on Iraqi, and identifies more with Americans than Canadians. He may be smart but the Peter Principle kicks in because he has only been back in Canada for 3 years, and will never understand the west. A blue, oops red blood, intellectual who has no clue about Canada.

Prime Minister Harper, is respected world wide for his intellect, you will never hear this from our foaming at the mouth media, they are still mad at him because he wanted them to line up at a microphone instead of YELLING out their questions. Such babies. Reporters are a perfect example of Peter's Principle, they report on issues they have no clue about, and the balance sheets of their companies prove we aren't buying it. Advertising is down, readership is down and shares are down. The National Post has recently reported a profit.

Finally, when thinking about candidates for the Peter's Principle award, only one person comes to mind......Obama. I'm sure he is a good guy, and it's great that he is the first black President, but he is way over his head. The bloom is going to dry up and then the Americans are going to be stuck with a Peter Principle President. If he does a bad job, no black American will be elected for a long time because of Peter's Principle. Bring on Sarah Palin, she has strengths and has no yet reached her level of incompetence.

Feel free to nominate your favorite Peter's Principle incompetent.

Our Heartless Unions!

You hear it constantly from Layton, how they are the ones that care about the little people, the downtrodden and the underprivileged. The ace in the NDP hole is the unions, and they have been very active lately. We have unions striking at a time when our economy is tanking, why?

Every person with any common sense understands that they will be lucky to keep their jobs let alone get a raise, but that hasn't stopped the unions, those lefty organizations that get money from their own membership and then spend it on political activism.

They spout about helping workers all the while they do so with a raised fist. They march with Hamas supporters, and shout about workers rights. They are organized and actively oppose the government, yet every union member fee they gather is by force of law, a law that does not allow a worker to opt out of the union. They are the dictators, telling workers how to vote, and how to strike, and how to disrupt our lives, and they tell us it is their RIGHT to do so. They have no compassion for those they disrupt. Read this:

The Survivor: She walks 12 hours a day to save job

Anna. Her name is Anna Kraisingerova, and she is somebody worth knowing. You may have seen her trudging along Prince of Wales Drive and wondered why she was walking alone in the bone-chilling cold and darkness.

She walks because she has no choice.

"I live at Carling at Bronson.

"My job is in Barrhaven. I work nights. I must walk 18 kilometres to work. It takes six hours. And then I must walk six hours home after I work all night. I am nearly 60.

"This strike shouldn't happen," she says. "I come home, I rest for a few hours. Can you imagine to work all night and after to walk 18 kilometres home and then, sit down for two or three hours and then walk back and work all night again?"

Her dignity and her indomitable spirit are evident in the simple language she uses to describe her plight. But mostly it is exhaustion you hear in her voice.

When the buses are running, Anna catches the 85 on Carling. At Merivale, she transfers to the 176 for the run to Strandherd Drive at Woodroffe Avenue in Barrhaven and her job at a grocery store, stocking shelves on the graveyard shift.

She has been working at the store for six years, and the bus ride is part of her routine. And then the transit strike came, shattering Anna's world.
Make sure to read the whole thing!

So, does the union care about the hardships that the "little" people are going through, or do they only want more money and to set their own schedules? Will Layton volunteer to drive Anna to and from work? He doesn't care, he lived in subsidized housing while he was making over $100,000. Read "We The Living" by Ayn Rand, and you will get an idea of what the unions and the NDP/Liberals are up to.

Heartless unions. They want us to save their jobs, and could care less about those that they are hurting with their soviet style activism. These are the same unions that Iggy just met with in Quebec, and they vowed their support to him. So, the coalition is stronger than ever because of the unions using their membership dues to support the NDP and Liberals. Who has the "hidden" agenda? Who is "scary"?

UPDATE:
Olivia Molenda, a fourth-year York student, pronounced herself frustrated with the NDP's stance.

"A lot of people are out of money now, paying for rent and those things. On top of it all, people are just depressed," she said.

Shipley said the union is sympathetic with the students' plight, but noted the university only spent 11 days in bargaining with the union over the 78 days of the strike.

Friday Funnies: And Then The Fight Started!

Financial Planning:

Dan was a single guy living at home with his father and working in

the family business.

When he found out he was going to inherit a fortune when his

sickly father died, he decided he needed a wife with which to share his

fortune. One evening at an investment meeting he spotted the most beautiful

woman he had ever seen. Her natural beauty took his breath away. "I may look

like just an ordinary man," he said to her, but in just a few years, my

father will die, and I'll inherit $200 million."

Impressed, the woman obtained his business card and three days

later, she became his stepmother.

Women are so much better at financial planning than men.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A SHORT LOVE STORY

A man and a woman who had never met before, but who were both married to other people, found themselves assigned to the same sleeping room on a trans-continental train.

Though initially embarrassed and uneasy over sharing a room, they were both very tired and fell asleep quickly, he in the upper berth and she in the lower.

At 1:00 AM, the man leaned down and gently woke the woman saying,.......... 'Ma'am, I'm sorry to bother you, but would you be willing to reach into the closet to get me a second blanket? I'm awfully cold.'

'I have a better idea,' she replied 'Just for tonight,...... let's pretend that we're married.'

'Wow!...................... That's a great idea!', he exclaimed.

'Good,' she replied. .............'Get your own f%$^ing blanket.'

After a moment of silence, ......................he farted.

The End
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When I got home last night, my wife demanded that I take her somewhere expensive.... So, I took her to a gas station.....
And then the fight started.

******
My wife and I are watching Who Wants To Be A Millionaire while we were in bed. I turned to her and said,"Do you want to have sex?
"No," she answered. I then said, "Is that your final answer?"
She didn't even look at me this time, simply saying
"Yes."
So I said, "Then I'd like to phone a friend."
And then the fight started.

*****
After retiring, I went to the Social Security office to apply for Social Security.
The woman behind the counter asked me for my driver's license to verify my age.
I looked in my pockets and realized I had left my wallet at home.
I told the woman that I was very sorry, but I would have to go home and come back later.
The woman said, 'Unbutton your shirt'.
So I opened my shirt revealing my curly silver hair.
She said, 'That silver hair on your chest is proof enough for me'
And she processed my Social Security application.
When I got home, I excitedly told my wife about my
experience at the Social Security office.
She said, 'You should have dropped your pants. You might have gotten Disability, too'
And then the fight started.

******
Saturday morning I got up early, quietly dressed, made my lunch, grabbed the dog, and slipped quietly into the garage .
I hooked up the boat up to the truck, and proceeded to back out into a torrential downpour.
The wind was blowing 50 mph, so I pulled back into the garage, turned on the radio, and discovered that the weather
would be bad all day. I went back into the house, quietly undressed, and slipped back into bed.
I cuddled up to my wife's back, now with a different anticipation, and whispered, 'The weather out there is terrible.'
My loving wife of 30 years replied, 'Can you believe my stupid-ass husband went out fishing in it?'
And that's how the fight started.

******
My wife and I were sitting at a table at my high school reunion, and I kept staring at a drunken lady swigging her drink as she sat alone at a nearby table.
My wife asked, 'Do you know her?'
'Yes,' I sighed, 'she's my old girlfriend. I understand she took to drinking right after we split up those many & years ago, and I hear she hasn't been sober since.'
'My God!' says my wife, 'Who would think a person could go on celebrating that long?'
And then the fight started.

******
I rear-ended a car this morning.
So, there we were alongside the road and slowly the other driver got out of his car.
You know how sometimes you just get soooo stressed and little things just seem funny?
Yeah, well I couldn't believe it.... He was a DWARF!!!
He stormed over to my car, looked up at me, and shouted,
'I AM NOT HAPPY! !!'
So, I looked down at him and said, 'Well then, just which dwarf are you?'
And then the fight started.

******
I took my wife to a restaurant. The waiter, for some reason, took my order first. 'I'll have the strip steak,
medium rare, please.'
He said, 'Aren't you worried about the mad cow?'
'Nah, she can order for herself.'
And then the fight started.

******
A woman is standing nude, looking in the bedroom mirror.
She is not happy with what she sees and says to her husband, 'I feel horrible; I look old, fat and ugly. I really
need you to pay me a compliment.'
The husband replies, 'Your eyesight's darn near perfect.!!'
And then the fight started.

How to wash a toilet

This was simply too much of a time saver not to share it with you

1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl.

2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.

3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close the lid.You may need to stand on the lid.

4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds.
Never mind the noises that come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this.

5. Flush the toilet three or four times.
This provides a 'power-wash' and rinse'.

6. Have someone open the front door of your home.
Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door.

7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift the lid.

8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom,
And run outside where he will dry himself off.

9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean.

Sincerely,

The Dog

Iggy Does Not Support Tax Cuts For Us!

Well, first he supported them, then he didn't, now he does but only for low income earners, not everyone. Or, I think that's what he is saying, but the guy is harder to understand than Dion was, and that's actually scary.

Ignatieff, in Montreal for consultations with union and business leaders, wants the budget to target tax cuts towards Canada's lowest income earners instead of across-the-board reductions.

All righty then, how much do us taxpayers pay to JUST the federal government in taxes?

YIKES!!! 47% of federal government revenues are from us, and Iggy doesn't want us to get a tax break?? How about those corporations like GM who want taxpayer bailouts?? How much do they contribute to federal revenues?

That can't be right, only 16%? Now remember, this is only federal revenues, not provincial or municipal. Also remember that there is only ONE taxpayer, us. You know those 16% taxes the businesses pay, think about it, they only pay taxes if they are profitable, and we make them profitable with our after tax money! That's right, you paid that 16% in business taxes to the federal government, meaning we are already up to 63% of all federal taxes paid. At least we get some sort of good or service from the businesses with our money, what does the government produce that we can buy? That's the problem, we have no say how they spend our money, except with our vote. The coalition wants to take that one small "right" we have away from us.

Now, add in your provincial and municipal taxes and maybe you can start to understand why you deserve a tax break. Add in all those fees, licenses and charges, plus don't forget the GST, and your pocketbook has been picked, by the biggest criminals of all, government.

Iggy needs to get out more, not with the latte sipping Toronto elites, but with the average taxpayer, who contributes more than their fair share toward this country.

We, the taxpayer, are the ones who need some relief, or we won't be buying from those businesses, and government revenues will decrease from both personal and business taxes. Never hit Liberals with facts though, they can't handle the truth.

Grab Your Kids Because....

It's time for a holiday in Antarctica! Yup you got it, Antarctica is warming! Well, maybe by one teeny tiny degree, but maybe not, depends which scientist you ask. That doesn't stop the MSM though, heck no, when they are on a global warming mission, nothing will stop them from using any report, no matter how they make up facts to prove their point.

Study says Antarctica is seeing global warming

"Contrarians have sometime grabbed on to this idea that the entire continent of Antarctica is cooling, so how could we be talking about global warming," said study co-author Michael Mann, director of the Earth System Science Center at Penn State University. "Now we can say: no, it's not true ... It is not bucking the trend."

That wouldn't be the same guy who distorted previous data called the Hockey Stick now would it??? So now he is making up data?? How believable is this study? It doesn't matter because if the MSM says it's true, it must be.

The researchers used satellite data and mathematical formulas to fill in missing information. That made outside scientists queasy about making large conclusions with such sparse information.

"This looks like a pretty good analysis, but I have to say I remain somewhat skeptical," Kevin Trenberth, climate analysis chief at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, said in an e-mail. "It is hard to make data where none exist."

Did you catch that, using mathematical formulas to fill in missing information, and presto, the Antarctica is melting!!! Oh, but they can't blame it on man-made global warming. Canada gets a say in this too:

The study has major ramifications for sea level rise, said Andrew Weaver at the University of Victoria in Canada. Most major sea level rise projections for the future counted on a cooling -- not warming -- Antarctica. This will make sea level rise much worse, Weaver said.

Nice scare mongering there, sea level rises......oh scary. Funny I looked this guy up and look what I found:

Keeping our Cool: Canada in a Warming World

He's got a book out, and guess who endorses it. Right you are, our own Suzuki, master of fruit flies and global warming BS.

So, pack up those kids, it's time to play with the penguins, in -47C weather!

While we are skiing with the penguins, we might have to use these bulbs to improve our tans!

WINNIPEG — The federal government is reviewing the safety of energy-saving light bulbs, responding to concerns the low-cost green alternative may emit potentially harmful ultraviolet radiation.

Yikes!!! Mercury and now harmful UV rays?? Antarctica warming and eco-fuels that cause food shortages...those eco-nuts sure have the science down. Down the throats of the MSM.

What Does Change Mean?

Obama has been crowned, and now change can begin. My problem is not with Obama, I hope he excels and makes America a better place, my problem is with the definition of change. I think I found a hint of what the lefties are thinking change is all about. Here is one comment from the National Post, it appears change is getting rid of all Conservatives, bolding mine.

How petty and pathetic of you to be so obsessed with lefties and righties, especially on this historic day, when a great man of hope and change takes his rightful place, at a time where disastrous eight years have left the strongest nation on this earth in weakest financial situation, after inheriting surpluses from what you would hatefully call a lefty, but who in reality was a pragmatic is Obama. Bush’s misadventures have costed eleven trillion dollars; most people don’t even know how many zeros are in there. Obama inherits the most challenges any president ever has for decades and would need good will that American people are willing to show, except for the jerks especially at the NP for whom no black man, especially a democrat would ever be good enough. Same here you every day throw crap at Liberals who gave us surpluses after years of deficits and mismanagement of economy. Like Mulroney, Harper once again is ready to hand out big bucks to his greedy and corrupt friends and takes us to deficits, and like fools NP pundits praise him. Is it any wonder the NP’s circulation is declining as is the stock of parent company? If the owners were smart they would bring about a wholesale change and fire all the left over from the Black’s era and bring in long needed new blood. The time for change has come, either change or vanishes, the choice could not be clearer.

The comment is a clear view into a lefties mind, and the intolerance is palatable. Like the protests against Israel by lefties, it shows their mind set. Only Liberal/NDP views count, and those who oppose are treated with disgust. The lefties desire for us to vanish, they are not trying to change our minds or argue points, they just want us to vanish.

We are their conscience, that is why they despise us. They know that swingers clubs are not moral, that abortions are not moral. They don't hate religion, they hate the morals that most religions teach. They know that criminals need to be stopped from harming innocent victims, yet they support terrorist organizations who do just that, why? Because they are focused on vanishing Conservatives, religion and nation states. That's why they love the UN, it seeks to destroy pride in country.

If what I say is not true, why are we not seeing anything about Hamas murdering Fatah Palestinians? but Israel is being accused of war crimes? No balance. Lefties will protest against Israel without looking at both sides. Why doesn't Amnesty International blame Hamas for anything? Maybe we should look into who is funding all these lefty organizations?

Change? Change to lefties is about changing the world into a socialist state and vanishing any voice that does not agree with them.

The Fallen Four!

All it would have taken to prevent this tragedy was a simple phone call.

One simple phone call by these two guys:

EDMONTON - Almost four years ago, Shawn Hennessey and Dennis Cheeseman gave ranting, cop-hating James Roszko a weapon and a ride to the spot where Mounties were tearing apart Roszko's pot farm.

On Monday they stood to face Justice Terry Macklin in the dead hush of Court of Queen's Bench and paid the price.

"James Roszko would never have been able to commit these murders without the help of these accused," Crown prosecutor David Labrenz told Macklin.

"The two accused might as well have been inside the Quonset pulling the trigger themselves."

I saw the RCMP getting ready for the memorial, I saw wave after wave of RCMP in red serge, it was shocking to me. All those officers, converging on Edmonton to mourn 4 of their own who had fallen, because of one deranged man. Now we have confirmation that two others helped him murder those 4 Mounties.

They did not pull the trigger, but they enabled the killer to do it. All it would have taken is one phone call from those involved to stop it.

Just one call, to save 4 RCMP officers. Such a small thing, one call.

The Ants Go Marching!

Iggy tries to pump up the Liberals, but fails. Even Dion had more charisma then this guy. Unfortunately, the ants are going to go marching to get out of the rain.

Iggy is no Obama, he is not the saviour the Liberals have been looking for, he is another duel passport holding Liberal with no clue about what real Canadians care about, how could he know, he spent most of his life outside of Canada.

He couldn't get elected, he had to overthrow Dion and be appointed, do Liberals think we didn't notice that fact? Not necessarily a coalition, but a coalition if necessary? How about no coalition and an election is necessary.

Being named "Iggy" shows the lack of respect Canadians have for him and his fellow Liberals.

And the ants go marching...

Found Money!

Are you bored? Try this. Remember a few years ago the guy would said he could find money you might have forgotten? You could phone him and he charged you by the minute to look it up?

Of course it was a scam, but my husband phoned him, and he was told that he had left $5 in an account in PEI, the cost of the call was $20. How was the guy doing it? How was he finding all that money for people?

I'm pretty sure he was using this:

The Bank of Canada has a service called Unclaimed Balances, all you do is put in your name and up comes the result. Try it, maybe someone you know has forgotten some money somewhere. It's really easy to claim the money, and some amounts are substantial.

Have fun finding money for free!

Respect For Single Mom's.

I asked a young adult the other day, why do we still have people poor people in Canada, the response was "bad choices in life".

This got me thinking about single mom's. They had a choice according to the abortion supporters, they could have killed the baby and gone on with life as if nothing had happened. Instead, they kept the baby and now face a more difficult life because of their choice. Funny that not very many single mom's I have met regret the choice they made, most are the proudest mom's you could ever meet.

Single mom's are not just young unmarried women like we hear about all the time, they are divorced women, immigrant women, and married women with husbands that work away from home. Two of my son's friends are from immigrant families, one from China and one from Africa, their fathers are back in China and Africa working, so the kids see them rarely. The mom's are left with the task of raising the family without the father, and both boys are wonderful kids. They both respect their mom's, and help them with the other kids. They are not out hanging around at the mall, they are home studying.

Funny how feminists want us to kill our kids before they are born so we can work, and when we don't, they accuse us of being bad mother's because we work to support them. Bad kids are blamed on single mom's, never the absent dad.

I think we should help single mom's by paying their tuition and child care expenses if they go back to school and pass. Instead of having the welfare mom who pops out kids faster because she gets more for each kid, while she is living with a guy who works in the oil patch and earns excellent money, (yes this does happen) get them off the gravy train, with education. The welfare mom should only get more funds if she goes to school and upgrades her skills. Let her get a bonus for passing but only if she gets and holds down a job for a year.

This has been done with some success in Canada.

Description of the intervention: The Canadian Self-Sufficiency Project, administered by the provincial governments of British Columbia and New Brunswick, provided monthly cash payments (“earnings supplements”) to long-term recipients of income assistance (Canadian equivalent to U.S. welfare), contingent on their finding full-time employment and leaving the income assistance program. Canadian Self-Sufficiency Project participants had one year to find full-time employment, and thus become eligible for the supplements. Participants could receive supplements for up to three years as long as they continued to work full-time.

The earnings supplements were sizeable. As an illustrative example -- based on the experiment’s formula for determining the size of a supplement payment, a single mother in New Brunswick who worked full-time for a year and earned $20,000 would receive monthly supplements totaling $5,000 for that year.*

The program cost $5,000-$8,000 per year per welfare recipient offered an earnings supplement (the precise cost depended on the specific welfare population to which it was offered). However, as discussed below, the program's net costs to the government were much lower than this amount because the program substantially increased income tax revenues and reduced government welfare payments.

This program seemed to work....in the short term, but not in the long term. So, with some changes like education grants, it might work in the long term. It's something worth looking into.

I respect single mom's who make the decision to keep their child even though they know it will make their lives more difficult. I respect those single mom's who go back to school, or university/college, I can't imagine how hard it is for them.

Let's encourage single mom's to go back to school, and discourage those who just want to live on welfare. Forget about giving unions higher wages, and give single mom's self respect and a sense of honour for the choice they made.

Another Bad Dad.

We have all heard that bad Dad number one is back behind bars. What was he doing in a bar? Celebrating his escape from justice? Disgusting.

Here is a story about bad Dad number two that will freeze your brain.

A delay of more than five hours before an official search was started on Christmas Day for two missing children in the West Magic Reservoir area may have led to the death of an 11-year-old girl.

Now, this little girl wasn't actually missing, the Dad knew where she was all along, and he could have saved her an hour later, but he didn't. She was walking 16 kilometers in -3 to -15C with winds up to 40km/h, to her Mother's house on Christmas Day, he told her, and her brother to do it. Look at the time line, and weep for the little ones.

Dec. 25

9:30 a.m. Sage Aragon, 11, and 12-year-old brother Bear Aragon start walking to West Magic Reservoir residential area after their father’s car gets stuck in snow on West Magic Road.

10:30-11 a.m. Robert Aragon, the children’s father, drives back to MagicValley after getting car unstuck.

1-2 p.m. Joletta Jenks, the children’s mother, notifies Robert Aragon that the children have not arrived.

7 p.m. Blaine County Sheriff’s Office notified that children are missing and search and rescue operation begins mobilization.

9:50 p.m. Bear Aragon found alive at BLM rest area about 4.5 miles west of where children started walking.

10:20 p.m. Blaine County Search and Rescue dog teams contacted to help with search.

Dec. 26

2 a.m. Sage Aragon found along West Magic Road about 2.7 miles from where children started walking.

4:15 a.m. Sage Aragon pronounced dead at St. Luke’s WoodRiverMedicalCenter.

Bad enough that the Dad told his children to walk in freezing weather, but he got unstuck an hour later, and instead of going to pick his kids up, he turned around and drove home, leaving his kids to freeze to death. He left his kids out in that weather for over 8 hours before the police were contacted. Read the whole story, it will disgust you.

The Dad should be sent up here, with the same lack of clothes that his children had, we will give him 10 hours to walk 16 kilometers in -40C weather and if he doesn't make it, too bad. Maybe both Dad's should suffer the same punishment that they doled out to their children.

Harsh? No harsher than what those two Dad's dealt out to their own children. Justice.

Let's Spend 30 Billion!

Budget, budget, budget, that's all we are hearing lately. Let's spend like Liberals!
Really, think about it, the opposition has given us the opportunity to spend like crazy and they get to take the blame. If you had 30 billion to spend where should it go? The vault has been opened, and you are going to pay for it one way or another, so go on a spending spree.

Tax cuts should be first on the list and not some wimpy 1% off of the federal tax rate, that will not get maximum impact. What will get maximum impact, is income splitting. The Conservatives can bring in income splitting for everyone and fund the reduced taxes with that 30 billion. Plus, this is not easy to reverse once it is done. This is top of my list.

Infrastructure is a longer term project, but who can say no to better roads and bridges. This is next on my list. Let's spend 30 billion!

Equipment for our troops, and increased ability to monitor and protect our Arctic is my third choice.

Have I spent 30 billion yet? Probably.

Think about winning $1 million in the lottery, could you spend it? Sure, a new house, new boat, and new car would probably do it. Are you happy now? Do you have everything you ever wanted? Are you done demanding anything for the rest of your life? Not likely.

The old basic demand thing keeps getting in our way, you know things like food and clothing. Unlimited wants, limited resources. That's economics in a nutshell. That new computer you bought with your million, after a few years, it's obsolete, and ends up in the garbage. That's another basic economic reality, everything eventually ends up as garbage.

The Conservatives have won the lottery, the coalition has FORCED them into spending, so let's spend wisely. No national daycare allowed, that's an endless money sucking disaster just waiting for the Liberals to happen.

Where else should we spend that 30 billion? Think short term benefits without long term pain. It's our money, so let's maximize the gains and minimize the pain!

SDA WINS!!!!

Here are the results after the polls closed:

Congrats Kate! A well deserved win! Canada Rocks!

Radio Radicals!

I'm driving to work and I hear an ad from the Canadian Labour Congress yapping about what they want from the budget. First time I heard it, I paid no attention, second time I heard it, I wondered who they really are and why are they advertising about the budget. Third time I heard it, I tuned it out as more lefty garbage but thought I would check them out to see if that was true. It is.

So, what is the Canadian Labour Congress, and who funds them? Thanks for asking, I wanted to know that same thing. Here is some of what they stand for:

Active in every aspect of the economic, social and political life of Canadians, from fair wages and safe working conditions to universal health care, equality rights, a sustainable environment, and much more -- unions make a difference in people’s lives.

First came the attempt to scapegoat the auto workers, and now here in Ottawa, the Federal Labour Minister Rona Ambrose is meddling in a labour dispute between the city and transit workers. We can expect more attacks on workers by the corporate big shots in the weeks and months to come.

The Canadian Labour Congress is calling on every worker and every retiree to ask every single candidate what they will do to protect our hard earned, savings, pensions and retirement security.

After that, in the voting booth, think about your own financial interest. Then vote for the one who's on your side

Influencing the 2008 election? Who funds them? I suspect all the unions, but they have no financial statement on their site, so who knows?

Now who would be the one who is on "your side"? Let's see.....

Although political discussion was downplayed during the merger talks, in 1958 the Canadian Labour Congress and Co-operative Commonwealth Federation set up a 20 person joint committee to discuss the foundation of a new political party. These talks resulted in the founding of the New Democratic Party in 1962. the NDP has, in its constitution, an organic relationship with the labour movement. Many local union organizations directly affiliated with the NDP, giving these local union bodies the right to participate in the Party's conventions and councils. NDP constitution also recognizes the CLC's District Labour Councils -- organizations of local unions in a single city or town -- as delegating bodies to the conventions of the provincial and federal New Democratic Party sections. Hence, by embedding labour organizations in its structure, the NDP went beyond being simply the party for labour and became of the party of labour.

So, it's the NDP that are advertising on the radio, trying to influence the upcoming budget. They have mobilized their union organizations to protest the budget and more importantly, even though you didn't see Layton at the Toronto pro-Hamas demonstration, you did see the unions, those same unions that are under the Canadian Labour Congress umbrella.

Proof? Look at their President:

I watch very carefully what happens in Parliament and I want to ask you a few questions:
Which party leaders did nothing but simply wave good-bye as greedy corporations eliminated hundreds of thousands of family-supporting forestry and manufacturing jobs?

Stephen Harper and Stephane Dion.

Which leader is fighting to protect jobs in BC and across Canada?
Jack Layton!

Which leader is fighting Harper's private health care agenda and standing up for public health care for all Canadians?

Jack Layton!

Which leader would scrap David Emerson's sell-out Softwood Lumber Deal?
Jack Layton!

Which leader led every member of his caucus to vote in favour of a ban on replacement workers?

Jack Layton!

Which leader has Members of Parliament who are all working on our side?
Jack Layton!

And when we vote on October 14th, which leader are we going to send to Ottawa with more NDP MPs than ever before?

Jack Layton!

Thank you very much - and here's BC Federation of Labour President Jim Sinclair!

What I want to know is who funds this organization and is it a non-profit organization? Is this where union dues are going, into ads for the NDP without the NDP having to actually pay for them?

What is scary is this little tidbit:

Sister Byers makes her presence felt nationally as the Canadian Labour Congress officer responsible for education; youth; medicare/health care; training and technology; literacy; employment insurance and apprenticeship.

What sent shivers up my spine was one simple word: Sister.

Then we have this:

Sister Clarke Walker’s childhood was spent in the Caribbean and in Canada. Her father was a workers’ lawyer; her mother both a trade union activist and a feminist. Not surprisingly, Sister Clarke Walker’s passion for social justice blossomed at an early age. She went on to work in a number of social service positions in Toronto.
Yikes!

It is a nest of far left individuals. Proof?

Resolution passed at the Hamilton & District Labor Council:

Whereas the Cuban Five in the 1990s gathered information (none of it proven to be harmful to the national security of the U.S.) for the Cuban government about the activities of terrorist groups in Miami, to help defend it from the ongoing terrorist attacks launched against Cuba from the U.S.

Whereas the Cuban government gave their findings to the F.B.I., who, instead of stopping the criminals, arrested the five Cubans in September 1998 and accused them of spying and other charges.

Whereas the U.S. Court of Appeals reversed the earlier convictions and ordered a new trial on all charges- reflecting earlier finds by a United Nations Panel on Arbitrary Detentions of the Human Rights Commission - but they continue to be incarcerated.

Be it therefore resolved that we support freedom and justice for the Cuban 5.

There is so much more that I could post on this site, but I hope this gets you digging, and thinking.

We Will Never Forget!

So, I'm looking around for something to blog about, and stumble onto Pajama TV. I'm sure that everyone else knows about this already and I'm way behind, but I figure if I didn't know about it, maybe some of my readers don't either.

It appears you have to register, and I expect pay to watch some of the videos, but they do have some free videos that are very interesting.

Here is the list of videos available for free:

I watched them all, and thought they were all interesting. You have Joe the Plumber going to Israel, Michelle Malkin, and the one I liked the best was Joe Hicks interviews Nitsana Dirshan-Leitner, an attorney with the Israeli Law Center who is fighting terrorism in the courtrooms of Israel.

She is hitting the terrorists in their pocketbooks, a nice non-violent way to stop them. I suspect that the lefties don't like this approach, using the laws of the land against terrorists is not playing fair.

If you have the time, watch all of the videos, it's worth it.

I have seen the videos of anti-Israel protests, and been disgusted by the signs and people shouting about back into the ovens and the female protester telling an Israeli boy that he is dead. If I would have been there, I would have slapped her into reality. It's been disgusting to watch these people spout hate while our police look on. I understand the police are in a bad position because of our liberal society, and they are probably as disgusted as I am, but a time comes for the average working person to stand up for what is left of Canada.

It seems that many Canadians have forgotten something very important, and they should be ashamed of themselves for joining with terrorist groups like Hamas. Don't forget Liberals marching with Hezbollah and supporting the Tamil Tigers. In fact, we will never forget.

Let The Love Fest Begin!

Will Obama have to face protesters in Canada like Bush did? Are the pro-Hamas forces going to be out in numbers because Obama thinks Israel has the right to defend itself? Will anti-American lefties burn the American flag in protest? HA! Right. It's going to be a love fest with lefties unable to control their most basic bodily functions.

I'm happy that Obama will be visiting Canada first, I just hope that we can keep all the radicals corralled. Let's go back in time to see how other Presidents have been welcomed in Canada.

Bush Visits Canada Amid Anti-War Protests

Posted on: Tuesday, 30 November 2004, 12:00 CST

OTTAWA - President Bush sought Tuesday to patch up relations with Canada after years of bickering, flying here for tough hemispheric and global talks amid boisterous demonstrations from opponents of the U.S. led-war in Iraq.

Bush's trip here was the first official visit by a U.S. president in nearly 10 years and his meeting with Prime Minister Paul Martin was akin to a political dance; Bush wanted to avoid any missteps that could amplify anti-Americanism north of the U.S. border.

The first official visit by a US President in 10 years???? Weren't the Liberals in power for all of those years? Hey what about Clinton, didn't lefties drool over him?

Meet Bill Clinton's Mistress: Belinda Stronach

Apparently tongues were wagging in both the British tabloids and in the Great White North that Bill Clinton was getting a little action from Canadian Liberal MP, Belinda Stronach---and nobody bothered to tell me! Shame on you.

Clinton Visits Chrétien

Bill with PM Jean Chrétien Clinton
Clinton, Bill with PM Jean Chrétien
Parliament Hill, March 1995 (courtesy Maclean's).
As Prime Minister Jean Chrétien showed President Bill Clinton around Parliament Hill last week, pointing out the soaring arches and stone work of the Centre Block rotunda, it was hard to ignore the evident affection between the two leaders, the undertones of chatter, the warmth in the two-armed handshakes. So taken was Chrétien with his visitor that he even changed his schedule to see Clinton off when Air Force One headed back to Washington at the end of the two-day summit. The sentiment was also apparently shared by the two wives, Aline Chrétien and Hillary Clinton, who went skating together on the Rideau Canal. Chrétien and Clinton did not sing together, but it was all pretty chummy, as the Prime Minister himself acknowledged. "When we're alone," said Chrétien, "I call him Bill."

So, it appears the Liberals loved Democrat President Clinton, some more than others. How did the Liberals fare with Republicans under Chretien and Martin?

Chrétien and Bush were expected to bump into each other several times
during the summit of 21 world leaders, but U.S. officials shrugged off
a Canadian request for a formal bilateral meeting between the men, who
have never had a close personal relationship.

"We told them that if we can, we should sit down," said a senior
Canadian official, who requested anonymity. "If not, we'll meet in
pull-asides (informal meetings)."

OTTAWA — President Bush (search) tried on Tuesday to repair U.S.-Canadian relations strained by years of bickering over trade and Iraq, although he stood by policies that have irritated Canadians.

He did promise Prime Minister Paul Martin (search) to work toward easing a U.S. ban on Canadian beef.

Even as thousands of Canadian protesters thronged the streets to protest his visit, Bush brushed aside suggestions that his decisions had damaged U.S.-Canada ties. Asked about polls that show Canadian opposition to his policies runs high, Bush pointed to his own re-election this month as the survey that mattered.

"We just had a poll in our country when people decided that the foreign policy of the Bush administration ought to stay in place for four more years," Bush said at a joint news conference with Martin.

"I made some decisions, obviously, that some in Canada didn't agree with, like, for example, removing Saddam Hussein (search) and enforcing the demands of the United Nations Security Council," Bush said.

More lefty protesters, and a big snob from GW Bush. Can you imagine what would have happened if PM Harper had been snubbed by the US like Chretien was, the media would have gone ballistic. Let's also not forget this little gem:

Yup, those Liberals sure are classy! After CBC's equally classy smearing of Obama, I must agree with Joanne at Blue Like You, keep CBC away from Obama, they are an embarrassment!

Hint to lefties...if you want to appear semi-intelligent, keep your protesters at home and don't allow Layton, Duceppe or May anywhere near Obama either. Iggy, being a Bush war supporter might have to be hidden as well.

The love fest will be something to see, all those unions, econuts, anti-war protesters and other assorted lefties, screaming as if Obama is some sort of rock star. The jealousy because PM Harper gets to greet their god and not the coalition will be funny. You can expect the lefties to have signs pleading for Obama to save Canada from PM Harper, the bully.

I can feel the love already!

Friday Funnies: The Surge Is Working!

No, not that surge, the surge in emails sending me funnies for Friday. I want to especially thank my favorite American, Irene, she sends me more laughs in a day than I can post here. Thanks Irene! Now to the funnies:

THE FLU

To avoid it Eat right!
Make sure you get your daily dose of fruit and veggies.
Take your vitamins and bump up your vitamin C.
Get plenty of exercise because it builds your immune system.
Walk for at least an hour a day,
go for a swim,
take the stairs instead of the lift, etc.
Wash your hands often.
Get lots of fresh air.
Open doors & windows whenever possible.
Try to eliminate as much stress from your life as you can.
Get plenty of rest.

OR

Take the doctor's approach. Think about it...
When you go for a flu jab, what do they do first?
They clean your arm with alcohol...
Why? Because Alcohol KILLS GERMS.
So.......

I walk to the pub. (exercise)
I put lime in my vodka...(fruit)
Celery in my Bloody Mary (veggies)
Drink outdoors on the patio..(fresh air)
Tell rude jokes and laugh....(eliminate stress)
Then I pass out. (rest)

The way I see it...

If you keep your alcohol levels up,
flu germs can't get you!

As my grandmother always said,
'A shot in the glass
is better than one in the arse!'

Canadian winters, you got to love them!!! (From a reader of this blog, who should comment more, you know who you are!!!.)

*December 8 6:00 PM*

It started to snow. The first snow of the season and the wife and I took our cocktails and sat for hours by the window watching the huge soft flakes drift down from heaven. It looked like a Grandma Moses print. So romantic we felt like newlyweds again. I love snow!

*December 9*
We woke to a beautiful blanket of crystal white snow covering every inch of the landscape. What a fantastic sight! Can there be a more lovely place in the whole world? Moving here was the best idea I've ever had! Shoveled for the first time in years and felt like a boy again. I did both our driveway and the sidewalks. This afternoon the snowplow came along and covered up the sidewalks and closed in the driveway, so I got to shovel again. What a perfect life!

*December 12*
The sun has melted all our lovely snow. Such a disappointment! My neighbor tells me not to worry- we'll definitely have a white Christmas. No snow on Christmas would be awful! Bob says we'll have so much snow by the end of winter, that I'll never want to see snow again. I don't think that's possible. Bob is such a nice man, I'm glad he's our neighbor.

*December 14*
Snow, lovely snow! 8 inches last night. The temperature dropped to -20. The cold makes everything sparkle so. The wind took my breath away, but I warmed up by shoveling the driveway and sidewalks. This is the life! The snowplow came back this afternoon and buried everything again. I didn't realize I would have to do quite this much shoveling, but I'll certainly get back in shape this way. I wish I wouldn't huff and puff so.

*December 15*
20 inches forecast. Sold my van and bought a 4x4 Blazer. Bought snow tires for the wife's car and 2 extra shovels. Stocked the freezer. The wife wants a wood stove in case the electricity goes out. I think that's silly. We aren't in Alaska, after all.

*December 16*
Ice storm this morning. Fell on my ass on the ice in the driveway putting down salt. Hurt like hell. The wife laughed for an hour, which I think was very cruel.

*December 17*
Still way below freezing. Roads are too icy to go anywhere. Electricity was off for 5 hours. I had to pile the blankets on to stay warm. Nothing to do but stare at the wife and try not to irritate her. Guess I should've bought a wood stove, but won't admit it to her. God I hate it when she's right. I can't believe I'm freezing to death in my own livingroom.

*December 20*
Electricity is back on, but had another 14 inches of the damn stuff last night. More shoveling! Took all day. The damn snowplow came by twice. Tried to find a neighbor kid to shovel, but they said they're too busy playing hockey. I think they're lying. Called the only hardware store around to see about buying a snow blower and they're out. Might have another shipment in March. I think they're lying. Bob says I have to shovel or the city will have it done and bill me. I think he's lying.

*December 22*
Bob was right about a white Christmas because 13 more inches of the white shit fell today, and it's so cold, it probably won't melt till August. Took me 45 minutes to get all dressed up to go out to shovel and then I had to pee. By the time I got undressed, peed and dressed again. I was too tired to shovel. Tried to hire Bob who has a plow on his truck for the rest of the winter, but he says he's too busy. I think the a$$hole is lying.

*December 23*
Only 2 inches of snow today. And it warmed up to 0. The wife wanted me to decorate the front of the house this morning. What is she, nuts?!! Why didn't she tell me to do that a month ago? She says she did but I think she's lying.

*December 24*
6 inches - Snow packed so hard by snowplow, I broke the shovel. Thought I was having a heart attack. If I ever catch the son of a bi%ch who drives that snow plow, I'll drag him through the snow by his balls and beat him to death with my broken shovel. I know he hides around the corner and waits for me to finish shoveling and then he comes down the street at a 100 miles an hour and throws snow all over where I've just been! Tonight the wife wanted me to sing Christmas carols with her and open our presents, but I was too busy watching for the damn snowplow.

*December 25*
Merry Christmas! 20 more inches of the damn slop tonight - Snowed in. The idea of shoveling makes my blood boil. God, I hate the snow! Then the snowplow driver came by asking for a donation and I hit him over the head with my shovel. The wife says I have a bad attitude. I think she's a fricking idiot. If I have to watch 'It's A Wonderful Life' one more time, I'm going to stuff her into the microwave.

*December 26*
Still snowed in. Why the hell did I ever move here? It was all HER idea. She's really getting on my nerves.

*December 27*
Temperature dropped to -30 and the pipes froze; plumber came after 14 hours of waiting for him, he only charged me $1,400 to replace all my pipes.

*December 28*
Warmed up to above -20. Still snowed in. The BI%CH is driving me crazy!!

*December 29*
10 more inches. Bob says I have to shovel the roof or it could cave in. That's the silliest thing I ever heard. How dumb does he think I am?

*December 30*
Roof caved in. I beat up the snow plow driver, and now he is suing me for a million dollars, not only for the beating I gave him, but also for trying to shove the broken snow shovel up his a$$. The wife went home to her mother. Nine more inches predicted.

*December 31*

I set fire to what's left of the house. No more shoveling.

*January 8*

Feel so good. I just love those little white pills they keep giving me.

Why am I tied to the bed?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, if the US wanted to elect a black American for President, why didn't they go for one that knows something about winning?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A young couple moves into a new neighborhood. The next morning while they are eating breakfast, the young woman sees her neighbor hanging the wash outside. 'That laundry is not very clean; she doesn't know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap'. Her husband looked on, but remained silent. Every time her neighbor would hang her wash to dry, the young woman would make the same comments. About one month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband: 'Look, she has learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this'? The husband said, 'I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows.'

And so it is with life....What we see when watching others depends on the purity of the window through which we look!

Excuse me while I get the Windex... : )

The girls are working hard to provide you with low fat milk, I hope you appreciate it!

Thanks to all who submitted jokes for Friday, it is much appreciated by me. Now get to BED, it's way past your bed time!
